Scholarships For Nunavut Students

The Department of Education has produced a guide to help Nunavummiut find and apply for scholarships. The guide includes: scholarship search engines, links and contact information for selected scholarships offered to Inuit, Aboriginal and/or northern students; information on funding available through each of the Regional Inuit Associations; and information on how to get FANS funding. Students pursuing post-secondary education (including trades, certificates, diplomas and degrees) can search for scholarships that are geared to their individual interests, talents, ethnicity and school of choice to increase the probability that they will qualify for, and receive scholarships.

Who is Eligible for Scholarships?

Anyone who plans to continue schooling at the post-secondary level, including students involved in private mentorship programs.Criteria is different for every scholarship, bursary or grant. You can download the Nunavut Student Scholarship guide for more information.
